Til Burfi recipe is one of the Lohri Recipe. It is a popular and easy recipe of Punjab. During lohri and Makar Sankrati til burfi is made in every household. It is a best festival recipe in Punjab.
Sesame seed 1 cup
Condensed Milk 1 can
Desi Ghee 2 tsp
Milk Powder 1 cup
Jaggery 1 cup
Roast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet. Grind them coarsely in a blender. Now heat the jaggery in a thick bottomed vessel till it melts completely. Mix all the ingredients along with grounded sesame seeds in a heavy bottom pan.
Heat the mixture for 3 minutes on gas. Grease a tray with ghee and leave aside. Mix the mixture properly and put on gas for 3 minutes. When bubble starts remove from gas. Stir continuously till it becomes thick.
Spread the mixture on greased tray. Let it cool for half an hour. Cut it in squares sizes or as your choice. Now your Til Burfi is ready to serve. It can store in an airtight container for one week.
