Sprout Salad

Salad is a category of dish whose prototype is raw vegetables. Salad has lots of vitamins and nutrients. Who were diet conscious, it is a use full recipe for them. I like it very much. Salad is a very colorful, refreshing and healthy dish. green lentil  is a good source of protein and calcium. Maintain your blood sugar levels with this interesting combination of subtly spiced sprouts and vegetables.

Ingredients:

Sprouted Green Gram – 1 cup

1 large onion finely chopped

1 tomato finely chopped

1 tbsp. Coriander leaves finely chopped

1 cup chopped cucumber

1 tablespoon Carrot, grated

1 seeded and chopped green chili (optional)

1 table spoon grated coconut

1 boiled potato chopped

Salad Dressing:

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste

1 teaspoon ground roasted cumin powder

1 tablespoon lemon juice, adjust to taste

1/2 tsp. Chat masala

1/2 tsp. Red chilli powder

Method:

Mix all the salad dressing ingredients together. Keep aside. Next cook the sprouts with salt and 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan as it comes to boil turn off the heat. Drain the sprout from water. Let the sprouts cool to room temperature and add the dressing.

Add all the other ingredients and toss well. Serve immediately. Garnish with grated coconut and green chili.
