Singapore Black Pepper Chicken

Black Pepper Chicken is to make Easy to make, and very tasty. It is made with black pepper powder. So you get a rich peppery taste for the chicken.


1lb boneless skinless chicken breasts

6 tablespoons cornstarch (for dusting)

1 white onion (chopped)

1 red bell pepper, cored, seeded, and sliced into strips

8 ounces green beans cut into bite-sized lengths

3 garlic cloves (chopped)

1 -2 tablespoon oil


2 tablespoons rice wine (or other dry white wine)

1 teaspoon chili-garlic sauce

1/4 cup oyster sauce

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon white pepper


Mix together all of the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Cut chicken into ½“cubes. Wash and dry the chicken breasts. Dust chicken pieces with corn starch until fully coated.

Deep fry (or fry in a wok) chicken in batches until golden brown. Drain in a paper towels.

Heat oil in another wok. Add onions, peppers, garlic, ginger, and green beans. Add sauce mixture to the wok and heat until bubbling. Add chicken stirring to fully coat with the sauce.

Add black pepper. Stir to combine and reheat veggies if needed. Serve immediately over hot rice.
