Lassi is famous and healthy drink in all over India. There are different types of lassi. Such as Plane lassi, salted lassi, mint lassi, bhang lassi, mango lassi, strawberry lassi. In north India lassi is a common drink with makkei ki roti and sarso ka saag in everyday life.
Lassi is made from Yogurt or yoghurt. Cow’s milk is most commonly used to make yogurt. Traditional lassi is a savory drink sometimes flavored with ground roasted cumin while

Lassi in Orissa is quite different from the one served in the North. During summer months, all these small tents come up all around the main markets in the cities.
Yoghurt 2 cup
Sugar syrup 1 cup
Grated coconut 1/2 cup
Rabri or condensed milk, 3-4 tbs
Sliced almonds & cashews nuts 1/4 cup
Sliced Pistachio nuts and raisin 1/4 cup
Coco powder 1/2 teaspoon
Cherry fruit 5
Tutti fruity 2 tablespoon
Chocó chips 2tablespoon
Grind yoghurt, ice cubes and sugar syrup in a mixi. Do not add lots of ice-cubes, it will turn the lasssi watery.
Pour into glasses till 3/4th full. Add the grated coconut, sliced dry fruits, coco powder, condensed milk, and tuti fruit. Again Sprinkle 1 tablespoon condensed milk or rabri. At last sprinkle coco chips and garnish with cherry fruit on top. Serve it cold with a spoon and straw.
