Malai Mirch

During Shibaratri we Indian pray God Shiba and take fast. There are many recipes are made for fast. Kutu ata ke Puri, Raita, Kutu ke Pakode, Sabudana Kheer,  Sabudana Khichdi, Alu Ki Tikki, Kheermohan, Malai Mirch etc. My previous post was Kheermohan. Both Kheermohan and Malai Mirch can take during fast.

Ingredients:

Hari Mirch (Green Serrano Peppers) – 10 long ones

Red Chili Powder – 1/4 tsp

Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp

Clarified Butter – 1 tbsp

Heavy Cream – 1/2 cup

Salt per Taste

Preparation:

Cut Green Chilies to bite size pieces (1/4 to 1/2 inch pieces) Add ghee in a pan and add green chili, salt,  red chili powder and turmeric powder. Fry them lightly (for about 2 minutes). Add cream, mix it and cover for 2-3 minutes.

You will start seeing heavy cream slowly changing color and ghee separating out, which means you are done and take the green chili off the heat. Serve with kutu ata puri.

I am hoping someone will try it and like it
