Chili Chicken

Chicken is a common meat we have at home. Chili Chicken is one of famous dish of Indian restaurant or dhaba. In India people try different type of chicken dish Chili Chicken is one of them.


500 gms/ 1 lb (approx) boneless chicken fillet

1 egg

1 tbsp corn flour

2 tbsp Soya sauce

5-6 green chilies (finely chopped)

2 big onions (finely chopped)

1 tablespoon tomato sauce

2 large green bell peppers cut into 2″ squares

1 teaspoon Red chilly powder

Salt to Taste

1/2 tsp white pepper powder or to taste

1 tbsp oil

Oil to fry


Mix well the flour, egg, chicken and marinate it covered for 2-4 hours in a refrigerator.

Heat oil in a deep fry pan and fry these chickens and keep a side.

In another pan add little oil, red chilies dry, chopped onions, bell peppers, green chili and sauté till slightly golden. Add white pepper powder, red chili powder.

Add the fried chicken pieces and soya souse, tomato sauce. Sauté on low heat for 30 to 35 minutes or until the chicken is tender. Season with salt as taste.

Cover the pan for 3 to 5 min in low flame. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve chili chicken with naan or roti.
