Banana Paratha are delicious fried Indian bread. You can eat it in fast also as break fast. Generally it eaten in north India.
What you need to make Banana Paratha:
2 cups Plain Wheat Atta
2 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
Potato – 1 large (boiled and mashed)
Crushed green chili 1 tsp
Greeted ginger 1 tsp
Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
Deshi ghee 1 cup
Boil bananas and remove skin. Add oil and salt to Wheat, mash the banana in the wheat. Add enough water to make fairly stiff dough. Keep covered for 45 minutes. In a pan add crushed green chili, greeted ginger, red chili powder, cumin powder and mashed patato.
Add salt and chopped coriander leave. Sauté little bit. Let the filling cool some time. Take big lemon size dough and shape the dough into a cup. Fill with potato filling in center.
Close the cup. Roll out into a round very carefully, dusting with wheat. Heat a tawa, and place the paratha on it. Apply a little ghee and toss rolled chapati.
Then turn over and apply ghee again and roast it. Now your Banana Paratha is ready to serve.
Serve with curd or pickle and deshi ghee on top of paratha.
